New Member passed Quality Checks with Flying colors!!!

Made a quick visit to Bustling Glade, KS to find the cozy, healthy baby Brenna, and spend some time with Holly and Rustin, as they adjust to the 2 foot addition in their house, the biggest mystery was who slept more, Uncle Tim or Brenna? But our thoughts and prayers are with Holly and Rustin as they push on with getting Milo cut and Weaning calves and the 245 other things that need attending. Thanks for having us.

Peaceful moments are treasured rarities around here. This was the most these two wiggle worms sat still for almost 6 months.

Chocolate Cake/Make Up whos counting

I don't even know how it got on the chair, its those moments as a parent you think "really" in the hair, well the best conceived ideas Tuesday night chocolate cake is going to be an annual event. " really; the hair" I was kissing her good night and the most wonderful aroma of chocolate mousse was embedded in the top of her head. The "Big one was just copying" As we struggled to get over the fate of the the illness that hit us hard last week this was a welcome change.

Thursday Night

Well, the battle is on here in the house, Strep is winning. This will be a tough weekend, Oriana is a huge help though, she is in charge of keeping the toys picked up that Grayson gets out. Grayson was trying on some Fireman's gear, She is precious and "bless-her-heart", Grayson is a simply a walking mess.

Husker Monday (on wednesday)

Mom and Dad had a chance to get in the game with Lil'Red, This was about as much as we could take, Husker games win or lose are tons of fun.

What a game, too bad we had fun anyways, Jeff, Athena and Lucas came to Lincoln for the game. Papa and Gigi made it and so did Dennis and Marion. Oriana thought about getting closer to the action, the Cheerleaders saw the outfits and it was photo op.

Blogging for a day now

Well, you came for the photos, thanks, We will try to keep them current, but like any new hobbies that require work.... but we are off to a great start, I believe the follow through is the key or in my prediction down fall. Anyways we are doing this mostly because it is way easier and more polite than emailing you photos and the like, To update the audience on our beings and such, I am working for a local contractor, Trina is teaching again at 7th/8th grade level, (her attraction to the hormone ravaged age is enough to at least be considered for sainthood) and she is employed by the Catholic School here. A good place and it brings her happiness, which works well for me.
Oriana is in the 0 grade at the Lutheran Church pre-school, Grayson is being introduced to the general population in the day care, and Maddie is devout in her quest for table scraps, both girls are clearly gold mines for the various half a hot dog or dried up plate of Macaroni. Maddie is the dog. Yes, she is still alive.
We live in tight quarters, waiting on the election to see what will happen, and like many Americans we draw too much attention to the media portrayed financial crisis, we have been out of money for years, living way better than we deserve, I say neigh to the economic woes, live for today. Anyways it really boils down to the fact we haven't been able to find a home that offers the price we can afford the large pool, circle drive, airplane hanger and indoor bowling we crave. Keep checking back.

Fathers day visit to the Omaha Henry Doorly Zoo. The people who took this photo opted to not be seen on camera as they spent the entire day hiking up the hills (one of the nicer yet less obvious attractions at the zoo, for being in a plains state) The zoo exit was a wonderful sight for all, the entrance was very exciting but the exit was quite different, simple salvation almost.

First Posting

So, I got this blog going, pretty much my goal here is to give a glimpse "edited" into our life. I think this whole thing: life and family and all that kind of stuff is truly the energy that drives me or anybody to do the things they do.

We live in a very cramped house (1/3 of a tri-plex) 2 bedrooms and 1 bath. Our Dog Maddie is here, we all fight for space and quiet, we all lose, but love and closeness is growing like wild flowers. I spent almost one year away from Trina and Oriana, Now I have them at fingertips reach all day everyday. I hope to get things rolling, check in periodically, I am determined to chronicle this life, our girls make us laugh.
